Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Golden State Warriors exacted some revenge en route to their best start in 20 years. Stephen Curry had 28 points, seven assists and six rebounds as the Warriors rolled to a 121-104 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. The 4-0 Warriors, who havent opened a season this well since beginning 5-0 in 1994-95, were ousted in seven games by the Clippers in the first round of last years playoffs. Draymond Green posted 24 points, eight boards and five assists and Klay Thompson netted 19 points for the Warriors, who shot an NBA season-high 58.1 percent (43-of-74) from the floor. I liked the ball movement ... I feel like we can get a lot better, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. DeAndre Jordan tallied 17 points and 13 rebounds, Chris Paul supplied 15 points, 12 assists and four steals and Jamal Crawford netted 24 points off the bench for Los Angeles, which fell to 3-2 on the young campaign. Its no secret that we got to get better. Were not playing the right way, Paul said. Curry scored seven points during a 14-2 first-quarter run, which staked the Warriors to a 21-11 advantage. They led 30-20 after Leandro Barbosa nailed a 3-pointer in the waning seconds of the opening frame. Green and Thompson each put in five points during a 14-2 surge in the second as the onslaught continued. Two Green free throws with 4:03 to go gave Golden State a 52-31 cushion. Curry and Thompson combined to score 18 points in the second and the Warriors took a 65-52 spread into the break. The Clippers scored 22 points in the second. Golden State took a 102-75 advantage into the fourth, where the Warriors coasted to the easy victory. Game Notes David Lee made his season debut due to a strained left hamstring, but he reaggravated the injury and played less than seven minutes ... The Warriors and Clippers split their four regular-season meetings last year ... Golden State was 15-of-25 (60 percent) from beyond the arc. Barry Bonds Jersey . -- Terrelle Pryor took the opening snap of the game, put the ball in Darren McFaddens belly and saw LaMarr Woodley crash down. John Jaso Jersey . Today, well look at five frontcourt players today, here from the Bay Area. 1. AMIR JOHNSON (Raptors): I cant figure out what the issue or problem is, but based upon what Im seeing, hes not right. http://www.piratesrookiestore.com/Pirates-Josh-Bell-Kids-Jersey/ . The same cant be said of last Saturdays 2-2 draw at Olympic Stadium against a very weakened New York Red Bulls side and one which had three stalwarts in Henry, Cahill and Olave back home in Harrison, NJ. Austin Meadows Jersey .500 were once common achievements for the Dallas Mavericks. Now, both are season highs as Dallas slowly works its way back into playoff contention in the Western Conference. Adam Frazier Jersey . 17.A string of English Premier League teams, most in the lower end of the standings, has been linked to the 32-year-old forward but most have seemingly balked at the cost given his wages and transfer fee.Norway won both cross-country sprints on Tuesday at the Sochi 2014 Olympics, with Ola Vigen Hattestad winning a crash-filled mens event, while Maiken Caspersen Falla took gold on the womens side. Hattestad managed to avoid the carnage midway through the mens final, as a crash took out three skiers, essentially leaving two men vying for gold. The Norwegian posted a time of 3:38.39, outlasting Swedens Teodor Peterson, who took silver with a time of 3:39.61. Fellow Swede Emil Joensson ended up with the bronze, well back at 3:58.13. Norwegians took gold and silver in the womens sprint. Falla finished in first in a time with 2:35.49, and her teammate Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg just stretched for the silver medal over Russias Vesna Fabjan. Oestberg finished in 2:35.87, and Fabjan ended up with a time of 2:35.89. U.S. skier Kikkan Randall, who was gunning to become the first American to win gold in cross country, made a surprising exit in the quarters of the womens sprint, after finishing fourth in the deepest heat of the round. Norways Marit Bjoergen, who won the skiathlon on Saturday and was the defending Olympic champion in this event, was eliminated in the semis. No Canadians advanced to the semifinals of either event. Alex Harvey was Canadas best hope for a medal in the mens event, but was eliminated in the quarter-finals, finishing fourth in his heat. Harvey, of Saint-Ferrée;ol-les-Neiges, Que.dddddddddddd, needed to finish in the top-two of his heat or post one of the two best times out of the rest of the competitors to advance. He finished the race with a time of 3:37.89. Canadians Devon Kershaw, Jesse Cockney and Len Valjas all failed to crack the top 30 in the qualifying round and didnt advance. Kershaw finished in 56th, Cockney in 53rd, and Valjas in 36th. Two Canadian women advanced to the quarter-finals, but couldnt get through their heats. Daria Gaiazova of Banff, Alta., finished fifth in the second grouping, and Perianne Jones of Almonte, Ont., placed fifth in the final heat. Chandra Crawford, Canadas 2006 Olympic champion in the event, finished out of the top 30 in the qualifying round and didnt advance to the quarter-finals, placing 44th. Teammate Heidi Widmer finished just ahead of Crawford in 43rd. Canadian coach helps Russian out Though Canada was shut out of the medals, the Canadian cross-country teams head coach received a cheer from the crowd. Justin Wadsworth handed Russias Anton Gafarov a spare ski during the first heat of the mens semifinal. Gafarov crashed during the heat and broke his ski in the process, and despite being out of the race he was determined to finish the race. As he laboured, Wadsworth ran onto the slope, handing the Russian a spare ski so he could continue the course and cross the finish line.
